Read MoreI took Whitney’s course on The Art of Lead Cultivation at a point where I’m actively rethinking the kinds of services I want to offer to my clients, and it could not have come at a better time. What I found especially valuable is how clearly it brought me back to fundamentals that I regularly advise clients on, but hadn’t fully applied to my own work. The course really pushed me to think more intentionally about who my ideal client is and what problems they are actually trying to solve. Coming from a business development background, I realized I’ve been making a lot of assumptions instead of having real conversations to understand those needs. It also sharpened my thinking around aligning marketing directly to client problems, rather than leading with services. That shift alone has been incredibly helpful as I refine my positioning. And the reminder that the proposal is the last stage of the process really landed for me. It’s something I say often, but Whitney’s course helped me see where I wasn’t following that advice myself. I also really appreciated the emphasis on relationship-building, especially the idea of supporting others who may refer work your way. And one of the most practical takeaways was recognizing when a client shifts from asking “what” to asking “how” — such a simple insight, but incredibly powerful in practice. Overall, this is a highly practical, well-structured course that I would absolutely recommend. It helped me step back, challenge my assumptions, and make immediate, meaningful improvements in how I approach my own business development.
